The blade is setting into a new state of relative sharpness - for the moment, it's not precisely fun. The shave was a bloodless 3-pass shave, but it is far from being close. Maybe I should just accept that.
The brush is starting to eat less lather, and also continues to split the bristles. I also start losing motivation for chronicling in detail minor changes to the preceding day.
Today I heard a mosquito, but I have not been bitten. Maybe the summer was too hot and dry for them? My son got bitten or stung by something in the afternoon, so maybe the citronella shield was not strong enough at that time.
