Since I'm gonna listen to the shit outta some Tom Waits today at work, I'll hop in u/Teufelskraft's #sidetracked challenge and suggest Downtown Train, which like a lot of Tom's music combines a sense of loneliness and beauty in a way that few others can. I really love the line "They're just thorns without the rose / Be careful of them in the dark."
