    Got the Zenith Short and Scrubby to do face lathering and it has been okay. No real stink and really stiff and eats lathers like crazy. I had very little soap for the second pass. Also one of the reason i chose the Excelsior base as it will be easy to lather. Razor was able to smooth for 2 pass shave. The L'Orange Noir pairs well with the soap and finished off with the balm. Good start to the week and month.

    Day 2 went by okay. The boar brush is still the same but i had a little more splay than yesterday. Lots couple of bristles which is normal. The blade and razor did a good job. Slight burn when apply the aftershave and finished with the balm.

    2 pass face shave is still good. The brush didn't shed any hair today but it has slight more splay. Hope the brush stops eating the lather soon. Not sure if the aftershave has menthol but sometimes i feel it. Finished with balm. No complaints today.

    Mid afternoon shave. Went on a hike and then brunch. Long shower and then 2 pass face shave with little burn when applying the after shave. Nothing the balm couldn’t tame. Now having a good day!

    2 pass face shave and using light touch to shave so that it can last all 30 shaves. Brush is doing a bit better after a week. Soap is performing good. Little burn when applying aftershave and the balm helped to finish things off. Good start to the day and the week.

    2 pass face shave. The brush is getting better. Shed couple of hairs today. Loaded heavy so what i the brush can eat some. Razor and blade are still doing a great job. Post shave was good with light burn but nothing the balm couldn't solve.

    Today i underloaded the soap and i had very little for the second pass. Didn't have have the best of second pass but not cuts. Slight burns while applying aftershave but the balm soothed it out. The razor and blade are still doing great.

    2 pass face shave and surprised the blade is still doing well. Brush is breaking nicely but keeps eating lather. I guess that is how boar brush are. Slight burns when applying aftershave but cooled down with the balm.

    The brush and soap is starting to perform a little better but i have started to load a little soap again in the second pass. The blade has started to tug but still was able to complete 2 pass. Not sure how this blade is going to last the next 2 weeks but will go on. Nice burns when applying aftershave and everything soothed down with the balm.

    Evening shave as I played cricket all day
    Quick 2 pass shave and am good to go. The blade works with quick passes. Has some burns when applying after shave and the balm to sooth things.

    Almost forgot to post this. Busy day. The brush and soap keep performing well. Brush is breaking in but still is very scrubby. The razor and blade did well today. Had some burns while applying aftershave but the balm keeps things in control.

    I saw 2 or 3 bristles in the brush has split. I guess this means the brush is starting to break. Hopefully this also stops eating the lather. The blade and razor are still performing decent. The second pass is not the best but is doing the job. Burns are the same when applying the aftershave and the balm is soothing.

    2 pass face shave and things are still going okay. The brush it getting softer but keeps eating lather. Razor and blade are still doing fine though there are times where i feel its not cutting but just apply more lather and try again. Post shave is the same and the balm is keeping things calm.

    Went to office after 3 months and was productive and almost forgot to post this. Brush is getting better each day and producing better lather. Did a quick 2 pass shave as i wanted to leave early and this is almost the best shave. Maybe this blade works better for quick strokes. Will keep experimenting. Has some burns when applying after shave and the balm to sooth things.

    The brush and soap are performing better now. I have also starting to add more water at the start during loading the soap. 2 pass quick face shave as this best way to get good shave with this blade. After shave had some burns but nothing the balm couldn't handle

    The brush is amazing for face lather now. Getting softer with each use. Creates a good lather for 2 pass shave. Blade is still doing great for 2 quick passes. Slight burns when applying the after shave and the balm things everything in check.

    the brush is getting softer and i lost couple of bristles today. Some say to just paint with boar and not scrub that way you will not loose bristles but not sure if that is true. Will paint the next 6 days and see if that makes any difference. 2 pass quick shave which is the best way for me, more burns when applying the aftershave but nothing the balm can handle.

    Today did a 2 pass face shave and 1 pass head shave. The brush created great lather today, does it mean its broken in but can never trust a boar brush. The razor and blade are amazing. I think i may have found a go to razor for head shaves. Slight burns with after shave and the balm kept everything in check. Perfect. Back to office is starting from next week. :(

    The brush is amazing for face lathering now. It's getting softer and creating a great lather. The razor and blade cut through 2 passes with no issues. Slight burns when applying aftershave and the balm cooled things but i started getting some burn when i came out. Forgot to apply sunscreen. which might have caused the burn.

    An late evening shave today. The brush is very nice now. Getting softer each day. Just need to load heavier than normal and it will create amazing lather. The blade is still able to cut through with no issues as i still do quick passes. Slight burns when applying aftershave and the balm keeps everything in check.

    The brush is soft and scrubby and i feel this can be a great brush. Created amazing lather with great backbone. The blade is still cutting which is great. I think i will continue to use this blade for head shave after AA gets over. The aftershave had it burn and the balm kept things in check.

    The brush has broken a bit and i think it can get better. If you have a good amount of soap it is creating a great lather. Thought i would have to change the blade mid way but this is a good and i'm going to keep using this blade. Today i found that the aftershave was based on Terre D'Hermes perfume from the Fine website. Aftershave and balm did the usual. Happy to have taken part.
